A little about myself;

I'm a native of Ireland, but I have called North Carolina home since '95. My parents still live in the house I grew up in on a farm in the northwest of Ireland, in County Donegal. My father still works the farm and helps my mum run the Dry Arch bed and breakfast, which they started in their home.

I received my formal training in Ireland. Most of my ideas about food resulted from my experience in the restaurant industry, as well as my constant research through food related publications, culinary science and online sources.

The apron says it all!

I am a wife, a mother, a small business owner and a 3 time cancer survivor. I know all about bringing to balance LIFE. Getting nutritious meals on the table, good wholesome lunches packed, have quality family time, and carving out time for myself. I love it!

We enjoy the outdoors, biking, and traveling in the amazingly beautiful sate of North Carolina. The coast is a favorite destination. Charlie our son loves any sport involving a ball, I am learning the rules as fast as I can!

I love to cook, and I really love to eat.

Sharing my love of food with others brings me a great joy.
